I am sorry but I just don't see how anyone can find much positive to say about Sarah Palin. She walks away from the state of Alaska to make a ton of cash. She can't even keep her family in line, how can she run a nation! Don't preach family values and have a knocked up teenage daughter. Don't preach family values and have your daughter's baby daddy showing up in Playgirl.

Clean your own house first before you start tackling bigger issues.
I guess this says REALLY positive things about the DEM's darling Slick ***** Clinton, for whom they just looked the other way for a moment and then turned back to applaud his "manliness" for getting a BJ right in the oval office. What a bunch of trailer trash! That would be Democrat TT!

Again, I am not saying that Obama has lived up to his billing. He has been disappointing up to now in many ways. He has tried to be too bipartisan instead of being aggressive with his plans.

Still Palin shouldn't run a fast food joint no more than she should run our country.

I honestly hope that either Obama gets it together or the GOP finds someone competent to run against him in 2012. Preferably the first as all Americans should hope as he is our President and how he does his job is reflective of us as a whole.
I lived in Chicago for 2&1/2 years before I came west. One of the most corrupt cities in the entire U.S. It's no surprise that people like NObama and his right hand law man would come from that kind of a cesspool. May be your president but sure isn't mine. What a bunch of animal droppings that bunch is! Bipartisan??? If he had truly had his way it would have only taken him the 1st year in office to TOTALLY destroy this country and appoint himself dictator. He's tried VERY hard, but a little opposition has put him a few weeks behind schedule.
Never in all my years has a President of the U.S ever been so disrespected by the rest of the leaders of the world.

As far as Pelosi and her "bar tab" Politifact that is a non partisan fact finder indicated the statement was untrue. This number included lodging and a myriad of costs. Not saying there wasn't waste and overspending but the Repubs need to work on truthfulness a bit.

I don't dispute Clinton being morally bankrupt but the country was experiencing good times under him. They all have skeletons though. The SC governor with the chick from Argentina? Kennedy had Marilyn Monroe.

It disgusts me that people would rather see the US fall than to see Obama succeed. It makes no sense. I didn't thinl Bush was the brightest bulb but I didn't want him to fail as it is our livelihood on the line, not just political rhetoric.

Again what ideas are on the GOP side that is going to fix things? I hear slamming of the Democrats but no fixes to the issue. It is like yelling at the captain of a sinking ship, if you can't fix it then shut up as the blame game fixes nothing.

The poster said Pelosi plane's bar tab was probably more than he made in a year. The poster did not say how much he made in a year.

Yet you say Politifact has proven the poster is lieing about Pelosi's bar tab. How do you and Politifact know how much jgger makes in a year? Of course, you don't know, but you can't resist an opportunity to defend Pelosi.

Then you can't resist the opportunity to slam Republican's truthfulness, because an anonymous poster on this site said Pelosi's plane's bar tab was more than he made. What does jgger's claim hat Pelosi's bar tab is probably more than he makes have to do with Republicans?

Dude, you have issues.

The story jgger is refering to is one stated by Rep. Michele Bachmann that was said to an audience at the Values Voters Summit. She stated that Nancy Pelosi spent over 100k on a bar tab for her air force plane.

Now for all I know jgger is rolling a 100k a year or he panhandles daily. If the later than he could say I spend more than that on my bar tab too (and I rarely drink)!

OK...so we roll things back to 1787 when the Constitution was drawn up. I hope we have evolved from then. Laws can be passed and the Supreme Court has to rule them to be Constitutional or not. So again the argument that we have to hold true to the Constitution is a moot point because we already do. Now what one's interpretation of the Constitution may vary...it is kind of like the Bible. Some people out there would still have women stoned for adultery. The Bible says its ok!!!!

Look you can find all kinds of things in every presidency that is wasteful. If you want to fix much of the waste then simply add a line item veto to the president's power and make him accountable. Many pet projects are added to garner votes on both sides. These people elected to congress are praised on their ability to "bring money home."

I still haven't seen any ideas they have that is going to change things. Cut spending/cut taxes has proven to be a joke. It is cut taxes and spend more and run the Visa card up more in reality.

As if Ovomit and the democraps haven't run the tab up on the taxpayers Visa, right K Mac? Can you say FAILED economic stimulus? And HOW BIG is the budget deficit, complements of DEMOCRATS in Congress and the White House?

And in regards to your little jab about Palin's executive experience, at least she HAS executive experience. It doesn't matter whether it is governor of Alaska or wherever, she has executive experience, Obama DID NOT at the time of the election !!!!! I proved my point, you, K-Mac, had to resort to changing the subject and making snide remarks about the subject person like the loser liberal you are. CASE CLOSED.

P.S. Is it just me, or do liberals have to change the subject all the time when their person or ideas are proven wrong, or they are confronted with facts, or have to resort to petty snide remarks like an immature school wannabe bully? If I remember correctly, this was called the LOSER'S DEFENSE in a debate.

I think the number was around 105k and it was over a two year period. As for what I'll make this year.....maybe 35 -40k, that isn't a normal year it's usually twice that much. I'm just a dumb*** carpenter and nothing is being built in Calif this year.

It disgusts me that people would rather see the US fall than to see Obama succeed. It makes no sense. I didn't thinl Bush was the brightest bulb but I didn't want him to fail as it is our livelihood on the line, not just political rhetoric.
Obama suceeding is failure for the US. His policies are leading us down a rabbit hole we may never be able to get out of. His goal is to have the Government controll more and more, so much for freedom of...(you name which ever one is on the chopping block next). Did you know that they are trying to get un-warranted tracking of anyone they want on the internet. But stuff like that is OK because it's the annointed one who wants it! Remember all the hub-bub over the Patriot act? (four legs good-two legs bad!)
And no I'm not a Black helicopter guy!

OK...so we roll things back to 1787 when the Constitution was drawn up. I hope we have evolved from then. Laws can be passed and the Supreme Court has to rule them to be Constitutional or not. An example of the basics I was refering to is the POWERS that are granted to each branch of government--Legislating from the bench comes to mind. Or all the Czars-WTF with that? Or all these little "offices" they have set up over the years, Dept of energy, Hud, even OSHA they all exist just to exist. You want to "evolve" well many of the offices have served their purpose and are no longer needed, but Chairman Obama wants more of them! Hell yes I want him to fail, and quickly before he creates the "Department of Departments"!

K-Mac you really need to re-examin what is happening to this country and quit playing Democrats good-Republicans bad. It's WE THE PEOPLE not wee on the people. Like I said I could care less if they have an R or a D next to their name, I'm actually registered as a dem (never bothered to change it) but haven't voted that way for at least 30 years.

As for flaming on me without having the facts, that was probably just your knee-jerk reaction because I dared to say the Emperior has no clothes!

But I digress.....it really is too simple for you to understand.

I realize that some people may be a little upset.
I promise that Obama will do better in his second term.

And if he does not, then I will stand beside you when he tries to have the 22nd Admendment repealed.

Actually I don't support the government wire tapping and spying on our Internet usage. Lots of things have been done in the name of security to take away our freedom.

I have no problem with evaluating everything in government to determine its applicability. I agree that waste needs to be eliminated. This is in all levels including the sacred cows of defense and hand outs.

I think government has its obligation to protect people (reasonable regulation) from corporations as they have proven themselves to be dishonest in uncountable situations.

Like the recient "Testamony" of Colbert before congress? Don't tell me they need a little break.

Should read: I think government has its obligation to protect people (reasonable regulation) from government itself as they have proven themselves to be dishonest in uncountable situations.
