brainstorming here what kind of FORD discounts are coming?
my 02 's tranny is slipping... 214K....turck has been the best....maybe i put $3K into it over its 9 years of life...not bad..
alternator
front wheel bearins
ball joints
tie rod ends
lots of brakes and tires and oil changes
but I dont have a lot of cash to throw down now... so looking at eating a high payment if I buy a new F150 now...or..
if i wait a few months, save o up some cash, sell some extra toys. and...
maybe have some BETTER rebates
does anyone think FORD will start increasing the rebates...
right now if you took the good financing..you would only get:
$500
$1000 tacked onto your trade in value
hope to hear from you guys
really like the additional 100 ponies they are putting in the F150s over what my 02 has

The dealers in the DC Metro area are pretty much between $6,000 - $9,500 off sticker, depending upon sticker price of course.
The Lariat I'm taking delivery of next week is going to be around $6,500 off sticker, since I'm taking 0% for 60 months. Not a bad deal. I don't see it getting TOO much better until December or January, if at all. The lots aren't flooded with the well-equipped trucks. If you want a medium-priced XLT or something, you might be able to haggle, as the dealers have more of them sitting around.
Good luck! I'm happy with my deal.
