They're listed as, ArvinMeritor R611 Front and Rear Axles on this website.
I've never really had time to sit down and figure out who makes what part. I just know the transmission because we had to run Allison's software for trouble shooting. It was definitely tricky getting it in there with that fork lift.

Yeah it took some finesse, I wish I had a picture of the axle hanging off the forks. Here's the forklift we used. Pretty much had to wiggle it in the tent until we were straight on and then it was all up/down, slide left/right and tilt while it was under the truck very little room for error. My legs were burned out from holding the brake, didn't want to crush my guys.
Looking back I've done some fun stuff I doubt I would have had the chance to do if I didn't come in. Dry sweep produces a yellow cloud when its forced through the combustion system in a 6.2l

I can tell you one thing, I will always wear my seat belt. I have seen first hand what a difference it makes. I had one guy come in after his car got towed in. He was bald and had this huge bandage wrap around the top half of his head. I believe he was driving a volvo. Anways he hit a tree pretty much square on his front end. He was not wearing a seat belt and he literally scalped himself on the sunroof opening. Granted he was a rather tall fellow and that probably would not have happened to the average person, I believe if he was wearing his seat belt that wouldnt have happened. Ive seen much more gruesome examples but those dont make for very good stories...

I hear ya. I have had the opportunity to see some pretty interesting things being in this business (collision repair) that I dont think I would have been able to had I not stuck with it.

Customer wanted a solid green semi-gloss/satin look. Same with the black on the chasis & suspension. It was funny because he said right up front he did not want to do any kind of camo theme. So I just left it alone. Gotta give em what they want right?
