When you first turn the key to the run position does the air bag light come on for a few seconds? It sounds like a warning for a bulb being burnt out. Might not be the air bag light but could be another warning type light.

Just a guess.

If the CEL is on, please post the exact numeric codes. Don't care what someone else has told you it means. It will be a "P" followed by 4 numbers.

That is a lean code, it has nothing to do with the beeping.........unless they changed something.

Throw that throttle body spacer in the trash can.

You have a lean code, it's most likely a vacuum leak.

2006 5.4L 3v. You are your trucks worst enemy at this point. Seriously. A CAI is okay IF it's the factory type and NOT an oiled element. You don't say, so I'm guessing here. And if you went with a 3.5", your dangerously lean. Like, you better have another motor on standby lean.

Throttle body spacer, - more bad news.

Flowmaster, = You have decreased performance compared to the stock set up. If you just want to make noise, get a real muffler.

Screw the beeping, -just appreciate the fact it's still running.

I havent had any problems with the truck but one wiyh the way it ran because of the spark plugs once i change them its been running good the cai is one that says to use oil but i dont put any on...and what do you consider a real muffler..? This morning the wife says she was driving it and it used to do this when it was cold and it didnt get watmed up first thing in yhe morning it spits and sputters and check engine flashes for a lil bit and then iy clears up then its fine.. Maybe time for a fuel filter? Maybe new pump?

Before throwing parts into it, like a pump... look at the fuel pressure off the rails.
