Thoughts to those in boston

Thoughts and prayers going out to those in Boston.

Here is hoping this doesn't start a campaign as the IRA started against the UK in the 80's.

Nobody should be scared to leave home!

News is slowly coming through here but here is hoping it isn't as bad as first sights!

Thanks Steve .... I'm in NY and from what I've seen there is 12 dead and dozens injured ... badly. The video is terrible lots of shrapnel.

Thoughts and prayers to those

My thoughts to all effected by this as well. I'm 90 miles west, but like that feeling I had about NY and DC and PA that fateful day just over a decade ago, Boston seems right next door.

Another tragic event for our country. Another reminder that we aren't safe. Anywhere. Even in your own backyard.

Boston is a 45 minute drive north of me. I go to Red Sox games, Celtics, & Bruins games as well as just going there for visits to this wonderful city. I'm deeply saddened by today's events and hope we find who is responsible & serve them justice! God Bless!

I'm on the other coast and it still feels too close! I hope they catch the perps soon.

Prayers for the injured and to those who lost someone today.

So what's the story now I think the death toll is far less than before

Changes by the hour it seems that's our trusty media

Eh... I wonder what the motive was?

I feel bad for the people that got hurt in it.

Seemingly all the talk is how people got hurt (and the number changing in hourly intervals), and the ideas of how it was made. But no talk on the reasoning. Interesting.

Unfortunately I doubt that we will know the truth for days, if ever. It is a shame that someone feels the need to destroy so many lives. That has always seemed to be the way of the world.

3 dead, 176 wounded last I saw. That 8 year old little boy we lost is the worst. Obama had his little press conference around noon, said it was an "act of terror" without mentioning "terrorist." Actually agreed with the man for once. I'm really hoping it wasn't one of us, but we'll have to wait and see. Grateful that they found the one bomb prior to detonations. Prayers go out

There's been a lot more activity here in the thread about the Texas fertilizer plant. Not surprising when prolly 50% of the members are in Texas and hardly anyone in Boston drives a pickup truck.

I am hoping the same but I for one will not be intimidated. F those guys.
I didn't change anything when the DC sniper was popping off people here.
Still pumped gas, still ate outside on patios.
