I can't find anything on the web about plant tours at the Kansas City Plant. Does anone know if they have tours there. Headed that way this September, and would love to see our babies being made.

 

Is KC building the F-150 -- I thought they made the Escape there.....???

According to wiki, after 9/11 the tours of the KC plant were discontinued.

Supposedly the only Ford plant giving tours is the Rouge plant in Detroit.

 

Thanks folks. I would say something about the reason for stoping the tours, but of course we don't want to offend anyone..........

 

I'll say what I always said in the months after 9/11 when security at the airport became a farce -- "All this for a handful of filthy Arabs!".......
