While I like leather seats, I voted "Cloth" in this one just because I think the factory leather in these trucks is a tad on the cheap side and I question how durable they would be over the long term for someone who is in-and-out of the vehicle all day long.

I'll have to admit that the leather upholstery in my new Platinum seems not as good as the King Ranch leather that was in my 2005, but, I love the looks and feel of leather. So, it's what I prefer.

Far too hot here for leather. I sweat way too much and can destroy leather seats in less than a year. When I went to replace my old 04 SCrew, I had a Limited as my target truck a friend had on his lot. Dark blue and it faded to black on the bottom. Gorgeous blue leather interior. I was ready to drive it off when the wife got there. She quickly nixed the leather and she is right, leather and me don't mix. The STX SCrew is the cheapest model truck I've bought in 30 years and I love it. I do sit on a Mexican blanket so the seats stay decent. Probably will buy blanket seat covers that are washable later this year. About the only complaint I have about the new truck is they sure make it hard to upgrade the stereo.

I only had one truck with cloth and that was a 2000 F-250 XLT. The rest were vinyl or leather...the AC seats really cool things off in the summer down here.

Only leather for me.
I keep the trucks a long time.
Sixteen and counting on this truck.
I think my leather recliner is about 21 years old.

If either of them were cloth I can't even imagine what they would smell like by now.

(oh wait, I do have some socks that are 27 years old. I'll check and report ba

I had to vote "makes no difference". Ford won't build a regular cab with leather so I can't even special order what I want.

All you need is a time machine, they did in 1999.

LOL. I owned a regular cab Lariat in '99 and I've been trying to replace it since I traded it in. They announced the Tremor a couple of months after I got my current truck so I missed out on that opportunity.

Which is why this is a good poll question by IB.

OK I get it, when the Crew Cab was launched in 2000 the skids were greased in every way for success, no more leather in a regular cab.
But after fifteen years can't that bastard half car, half truck stand on it's own two feet?

What assembly plant nightmare would occur if some leather seats were dropped in a regular cab like back in 1999?

i.e. ----> Ford is STUPID
and I haven't had a truck payment in over a decade
