Fusion Sport is back!

Ford is bringing back the fusion sport for 2017, the only engine choice is the 2.7 ecoboost v-6 rated at 325 hp and 350 tq, and AWD is standard.

The website has a lot of wrong info on it so don't rely on it anything with it. Like the Titanium that comes with 19" wheels but 235/45/18 tires....don't think so. The wife and I did a build and price thing for a Titanium and we'd get a lot of car for the 30 grand full list. The Sport both of us thought was coyote ugly with the black trim and wheels. I can't make myself like any blacked out wheels, it just looks cheap. I've seen a Caddy in the area though that has blacked out wheels but the spokes on the wheels have slim lines of chrome- super sharp on that car which is also black. Down side for the wife, she likes the 2.5 four banger in her 2014 Fusion and the 2017 Titanium is 2.0 EB only. She's a lot like me, keep it simple stupid and EB is not simple. Lots of technology to make it run where as the 2.5 runs great, gets great gas mileage, and has plenty of power for her. If she wants to go fast and quick, we have a few HP vehicles here starting with a 325HP LSC or a 550HP F-100.

Also, Ford Racing now has a 5.3 L stroker short block based off of an iron 4.6

It would be a fun car to daily. I bet the AWD is needed with the torque curve on the 2.7 EB

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like black / blacked out wheels. For whatever reason, I think the wheels help make a vehicle by standing out. Black wheels just hide from view and always look dirty - even if they're not.

X3 on the blacked out wheels. I would shoot some silver plasti-dip on them until I could swap them out for a better looking wheel.
