Very cool. Is that custom bent (metal) or is it a montage' of plastic bits?

This is actually my third case. The first one was an old gateway case. I painted it red using auto paint. It was really shinny recently i just tore the comp apart and threw the case away. Who would buy a painted gateway case?

The next one I did was a Mid-tower. I just cut a hole in it, put a light in there, and painted it black. I just sold that one to my cousin.

This one I just finished and you can see what I have done to it.

If you want case done like this just email me at

1337h4xor@home.com

I won't be able to start on one for you till nextweek. Working on one for a friend right now. Should be finished either monday or tuesday on it.

That's so cool - the truck & the computer case!

I love them both - the truck AND the case! I have a question - how difficult is it to paint the case? I'd LOVE to do mine in white & then paint some - you guessed it - BIG, BLACK COW SPOTS on it! LOL!
Seriously - is it tricky? I would try it myself if you think I could manage it. I used to do ceramics if that will help!

I use auto paint when I did the cases. My friend has a spray gun and stuff he let me use. I sanded it down to metal, primed it, sanded, 1st coat, sand, 2nd coat, sand, 3rd coat, sand, rubbing compound, clear coat, sand, rubbing compound, swirl mark remover, and hand glaze. It's about 10 hours of work but the finish looks like I car. I also give 24 hours dry time between coats of paint and 2 hours of dry time between sandings since I do wetsanding.

RR Triton just as a note

PCmods is as gheigh as you can get. It's hated throughout the case modder world. Everything is overpriced and costs them like 500% less than what you pay for it. I remember they started selling LCD kits for $100. Someone a few days later posted on the boards that it was only costing $40 in actually supplies to make it. They are just making a little profit, eh? Now they have those cold cathodes they sell for $40. Well I buy them through a distributor. I can sell them to you $25.

Most everything you can find at local stores. If you want someone to do your case email me. I love making these things.

coolcasemods is ok but still overpriced. The only things I buy online are Fans and soon I'll be buying them in bulk 100 at a time.

I'm just highly upset on how hard it is to find cheap supplies. I'm working on getting a online store setup right now that's going to sell stuff cheap. I'm not going to be like some of these places that charge $20 for 10ft of edge molding that cost them $4 to get. I spent many weekends driving from store to store trying to find some of the stuff I needed. I'd like to compile that all into one store so ppl don't have to do what I did.

I'm making cases and selling them to people to help raise money. More money I get to start with means a wider selection. I'm working on the second case to sell to someone. My cousin already bought one and I'm building one for someone I met online. That's actually the friend I mentioned above. Not really a friend just another computer nerd that doesn't know how to use power tools (really hope he doesn't read this board) Almost done and then have to let the case sunbathe for the week to be ready for shippin'.

Then I can start on another one if anyone wants a custom case.

I guess your a slightly more modest lighting owner

Just take a pic and have someone put it on their server. If you have @home they provide webhosting. You just upload it to their server and they give you a link. Then when ppl click the link it gives shows the image. You can also use the IMG button when posting. You fill in the URL to the picture and it does the rest for you.
