Hee-hee-hee! That kooky metric system, LOL!

Conrtary to what you might suspect, I'm not suffering from some gastrointestinal disorder that causes severe flatulance. And I have excellent personal hygene and grooming habits.

My Grandfather, my Father, and myself all nicknamed Pepe so...............aahhh c'mon do I really have to explain.

OPIE is a nickname given to me by the boys at work. Most new recruits at the fire dept. are given nicknames in their first year on the job. The more you dislike your nickname, the more they use it. At first I let it bother me, but I soon realized that it could be MUCH worse.

Mine came from a combination of faternal organizations I belong to. Boaz is the name for the left pillar of King Soloman's Temple and 32 is the degree of Scottish Rite to which I belong and hold.

Anyone here done Indian Princesses??

It's a father/daughter activity sponsored by the YMCA. A chance for fathers to bond and share experiences with their daughters. We go camping about once a month with other father/daughters in our tribe. Teach crafts, organized games, horseback riding, fishing, etc. Like Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts. You get the idea.

Part of "deal" is that everyone has an "Indian" name. I had to be more creative than "Sitting Bull" or "Running Bear". It's suppose to mean something unique about "you".

So, I remembered some of the interesting comments from my old college roomates. They indicated that I had a talent to "break wind". Therefore, I am "STRONGWIND". I get some funny looks at the events on "introduction". And I also get a little more room at the campsite. Noone seems to want to put their tent real close to mine.....

guy's in the army started calling me this when they heard iggy pop's song. kids in school called me this when i lost my license for the first time. people who are older then i am call me this all the time. and at 35 with a driving record like most teens, a toy box that never seems full enough, and the ability to stop doing anything in order to go have some fun, many people call me this who have given up on any chance that i will ever grow up and conform like the rest of the world
lifes to short to worry about tomorrow.

I worked for the Southeastern Boll Weevil
Eradication Foundation (SEBWEF) for 5 years
as a trapper. Hence the name, trapper. It
was a great part-time job. It combined two
of my favorite things, riding my quad and being
outside up to 8 hours a day. I recently quit
because of the birth of my first child. She takes
up all my extra time.
