Question Lariat with Cloth Seats

Hey again everyone. I am planning on ordering a new F-150 in about a month, and since I am ordering it I'd like to know one thing

Is it possible to delete the leather seats from the Lariat so I get a Lariat series but with the Cloth front and rear seats

The truck will be a F-150 Lariat 4X2 if that makes a difference with Medium parchment interior.

Any help is always appriciated!

Jeff

(As a side note. I just registered two weeks ago or so and I'll end up having to change my screenname because I'm going with Arizona Beige for the color. Oh dang! I am getting the 7700 payload though.)

I have never heard of a Lariat with cloth, I don't know if you can get it like that or not, talk to your dealer and see what they have to say about it.

the difference between Lariat and XLT is just the number of standard options. Why not just order a fully loaded XLT?

I had thought about simply ordering an XLT but prefer the Lariats Grille treatment, driver's door handle, and wheel lip moldings. If I order a 4X4 just for that appearance I'll be paying about $2500 more than just getting a Lariat and putting seat covers on the seats.

Thumbs up

Leather is the main option for the Lariat. That's the only option you can't get with the XLT. And the grill, and "Lariat" decals......

Here's my XLT..........

Thanks all. That works for me. I've got the Lariat right now anyhow so the leather has grown on me. I'll have to manage somehow

Thumbs up

Just get the Lariat and buy yourself some cloth seat covers.

Come resale time do you want:

a) disappointed buyer, "What! A Lariat with no leather?"

b) excited buyer, " Hey, this interior looks brand new!"

What difference in the grill treatment? I had a 1999 XLT and now a 2001 Lariat, grills identical except for the color.

jryager, the XLT and Lariat grilles are the same in 4x4.

BlackF250 is talking 4x2, the XLT 4x2 has the eggcrate grille.

Okay Raoul.... thanks... both of mine were 4x4s. Wow, a sane response from Raoul... what's the world coming to? :-)
