Odometer Test Function Setting

Odometer Test Function Setting
I posted this in the electrical section but wasn't sure if I should post here also. Anyway here goes.
I know how to put the Odometer into test mode and read things such as digital rpm, speed etc.
What I was wondering if anybody has a listing of what each function means. There must be 20 different readings, many of which are not self explanetory.
If you could let me know where to find this information I would be grateful.
Thanks
Chris

I wouold like to know too, since the seasrch function isn't working maybe someone can help.
I have "scrolled" through the different codes and have some questions:
When I see fuel and then a number like 186, does that mean ther is 18.6 gallons left?
Also; isther a setting or code for the water temperature?
I want to know if I can drive with this setting in place to monitor the radiator temp while towing.
Can this be done?

On a hunch
On a hunch I figured that most domestic manufacturers use many of the same parts distributers, so I went out to a buddies late model Jeep and tried this little trick.
It worked, although it ran a slightly different test routine and didn't seem to be able to be controlled. I am going to try a late model GM product next.
There has got to be a Ford Tech on this board who is willing to let the cat out of the bag on this one. What do all the functions mean?
Thanks again
Chris

Yes you can read your ECT(eng. coolant temp.) as you drive. If I remember, it shows 'engc82(or some other Celcius reading). It will change--up and down as your eng. and coolant work togeather. I used this info after changing to a 160* 'stat just to be sure it wasn't running too cold.
