Thumbs up Texas Chapter meets again, see the great pics..

Well a few of the Texas Chapter members met up this weekend (Mumbly, Mrs. Mumbly, Mudder, FDLFDCoD, Crash, Steve#1, Sixpipes, Silver 2000 soon, Silver Roush, Lady Roush, Nighthawk, Mel and EXTINGUISHFIRE). On Friday night we went out to the race track and had a little fun on the 1/8 mile strip. Me and FDLFDCoD looked on, us 4x4 guys just sit and watch. But I did work the camera and got in about 1 hour's worth of racin. And I would just like to say congrats to Mrs. Mumbly on whippin Steve at the strip, looks like it won't be too long until she's pullin the keys away from Mumbly so she can do all the racin The next day we went to a car show at Bankston Ford at 10am, and surprise surprise, Mumbly won. There were 6 Roush's out there, that's right 6. I had never seen so many of them in one place before. Then after that we went to another show at a local Sonic, where Mumbly once again took first place. But here's the really funny thing, Your's truely here got a second place tropy. I was shocked, I didn't even think that I stood a chance in winnin a trophy. So needless to say I am pretty happy, and am really starting to get into this whole car show stuff. So yes I will be attending more and more. By the way, FDLFDCoD got a 4" Rancho lift this weekend, so I spent most of my time admiring it and drooling all over his truck. Ed, truck looks awesome buddy, just freakin awesome. I'm jealous as hell. Any way, here are the pics, enjoy.

Hey Ed, remember to bring a ladder next time so we can get into your truck.

Me, with my winch out. Hey it was funny and I got some good laughs. Too bad I didn't get any pics of me winchin Ed's truck to mine.

Here is the Dodge that we scared off.

It was really fun, can't wait til San Antonio, but that will be here in no time.

Cool

More pictures from Bankston. Great looking trucks. Congratulations to Mumbly & Mudder on their trophies.

I had to throw a picture of this little 37 Plymouth in there. Cool.

Thumbs up

Congratulations to Mudder & Mumbly on their wins! It was a lot of fun Friday & Saturday. It was great seeing Mrs. Mumbly & Lady Roush race Friday nite. Looks like we may have to hit the races a little more often.

Saturday was just as fun, even though that crazy Texas weather played with us. At the first show most of us got sun burn, then, at the second show, we were threatned by a cold wind and rain - only in Texas!

Anyway, had a blast as usual. If the San Antonio rally is gonna be anything like this past weekend, boy are we gonna have some fun !!!
