Hey guys, sounds like fun, can't wait to make it out in May, money permitting, to the May Silver Lake run. I'd happily race any of you in my Explorer but with 4.56:1 gears, it isn't exactly designed for drag racing
. The pictures didn't show up but I'm sure they were cool.

Hey Redwing,
Are you refering to that Bogus race; On your mark, get set, August takes off, Go! Some of us didn't realize it was a race yet untill a few trucks were 2-3 lenths ahead, then we started.... I smell a rematch. I think Jim deserves credit for not getting high centered and for making it up test hill for the first time ever(aka rookie) on the first try.

JMC,
Yea I agree , full credit to Jim for his whole day. Not Just test hill. Sand takes time to learn how to drive in, And in his case he looked like a pro from the start.
As for the drags, With no "Tree" to run from its pretty hard to get a clean start. So with no money on the line all we are after is bragging rights....For laughs....only
I'm looking foreward to a rematch, Just to go show the shovies what a line of F-150's looks like on the FLY!!
All in all, I too had a great time.Even with all the waiting in lines
...and flats....and dents....and feeding 9 guys from one cooler...and searching for an aircompressor in the dark!!!
Now I'm counting days untill the May 20th trip,
Redwing
