What color is your check engine soon light? Mine came on, adn the shop I took it to said that if the "check engine" light is orange, then it is probably just the o2 sensor. I had to drive around with my that light on for a few days.. If it is red.. then there is trouble.. Hope everything works out for ya.. Have a good day.

mikesteg, give me an email at one of my addresses in my post above and I will fill you in on the San Antonio stuff. If you get ahold of SS97Ford, he can let you know as well.

Later and Welcome to the site.

Check engine light...
I think mine is orange. I don't remember it being red, the truck seems to run fine, no funky smells, fluid levels are fine. Good info though, I'll pay attention if it turns red.

I'm under the impression that OBDII codes can't be read without a reader (as opposed to the older ECU which could read with an LED and a resistor). I guess I'll just let the dealer tell me what it says.

Now, let's see if this signature works...

Cool

My truck ran fine too... the light does get irritating though. I had to drive mine with the light on for a few days until the shop could get me in there..
