Thumbs up Car/Truck show in the D/FW area....

Howdy D/FW guys and gals, just lettin you know about a show that is goin on this Sunday May 21st. I know that Mumbly and myself will definitely be there, bigEd is still thinkin about it. The show is at Denny Sergeants Western World at 4905 S. Cooper in Arlington one block South of I-20. Show starts at 10 AM, Register til 1 PM, Awards at 4 PM. It is participant judging, and is $15 to enter. The first 150 entries will receive a dash plaque. There will be free hot dogs and drinks as well. Here are the classes:

00-35 Rods
36-49 Rods
Custom
Pre 50's Car
50's Car
60's Car
70-80's Car
90 Up Car
Open Car
Muscle Car
Sports Car
Pre 50 Truck
50-60's Truck
70-80's Truck
90-up truck (Pretty much our class guys)
Open truck.
Best of Show
Car & Truck
Best Engine
Best Paint
Best Enterior
And of Course, The Roush Award, which automatically goes to Mumbly

Now the good thing about this is that there will be 3 awards for each class, so a really good chance for some of us to walk out with a trophy (Mumbly). And if we can get 10 or more to show up we have a good shot of winning the club participation award, and that will be $200. But even if you don't wanna show your truck just come out and hang out with us, it will be fun. But Hopefully it wont rain, and if it does that make up date will be the next Sunday, May 28th. If you have any other questions or need directions just let me know. Email is mudder46@hotmail.com .
