Firezapper,
If I brought a firetruck could you get us out to really close to the airstrip or would we have to park a mile away. By the way do you know the Donahues. Thanks steve

Will you be willing to bring it as an operational piece or just for the parking. The station is about 3/4 mile from all the displays. So the answer is yes and no, you will be about a mile from the displays but have the same view as everyone else at the station. No, I don't know the Donahues.

I thought this was an F150 gathering...heh, how'd it turn into FireTrucks?

PS -- I don't own a FireTruck...well, that may be untrue depending on your point of view.

Your normal crew will be fine. You need to be at staging at 0730-0800. Staging is at fire station 2. If you need directions just email me.

Well, I don't know of any fire departments "not allowed". What's a matter? You guys too wild??? That's what our problem is. We get kicked out of everywhere we go. As far as I know, everyone is allowed, June 3. Call Jamesburg Fire Dept if ya got any questions though. I don't know much about the air show, but you could always stop by afterward. We're supposed to have fireworks. (as well as other stuff)

The chances of getting a formal meet together on the 3rd at McGuire AFB seems impossible. Too many people, unable to get to park together, too many members have more important duties (ie: fire watch), etc, etc.

It seems the best possible thing to do is reschedule this meet. BUT, if you are going to the Air Show anyway, make sure you stop at one of the fire stations and meet Firezap. Also, you should find steveo on one of the local community fire trucks. Or, stop by Jamesburg for their big deal w/fireworks, and say hi to sycoholic.

I will start a new post for the new event.

I'm from Jersey. And all this meeting at fire departments or shows is confusing. Why not just pick a place with alot of parking like a park, or a turnpike rest area.

------------------
black 97' x-cab 4x4, 5 speed 4.6, black westin nerf bars, 6 cd changer and a 12 premier sub, pilot ground searchers, borla SS split rear exhaust, K&N genII, v-tech oval side window covers, IAS shocks

soon: chip, spark plugs, plug wires, and an electric fan, eventuall new rims, and maybe a jacobs unit.
