Unhappy

Well guys, I just had an accident with my truck and I won't be making it to the meet. I need to get a little body work done. All my fault and it happened in my garage! I am going to try and get it fixed ASAP, as this truck has been sitting long enough.

Sounds good guys. Sure Roger, bring the Expy. Is everyone coming alone, or bring a companion. Just curious, cause my g-friend might want to join in.

Discussed it with the wife. While she has excellent taste in men, she doesn't really care that much about trucks. I figure she would enjoy it about as much as I would if she took me shopping, so I'll let her off the hook.

Still not sure if I can make it - we have tentative plans to go up to the inlaws cabin that weekend.

Hey, well are we still on for this Sunday? I know I am going to the rally. I hope we get a good turnout. Just checking, and putting this thread back at the top.

Thats the spirit F150bob. I don't have a digital camera yet, so I may have to borrow one for the meet. I'm pretty sure there are others planning on coming, like Marv1, Bones, Dukhuntr, Dirt Bike Dave, Roger, and a few others, but haven't heard from them recently.

Z71killer,

I'm ready to go! I've been waxing the dents and scratches on the truck and I looking forward to meeting everyone.

I’ve also got my digital camera ready to go. There may not be a bunch of us, but it will still be fun and we will have pictures to post.

Hey everybody,

We're going to me at the public boat launching area at 10:00 am, right?

I couldn't find it on the Yahoo maps and AAA didn't have any maps of Rio Vista. I know it is there, but just where, I'm not sure. Does anyone have the exact address?

Also, if anyone else is leaving Sacramento from Hi-way 50, let me know and we can go together down the River Road.

I am really looking forward to seeing all of the mods people have done to there trucks.

OK ...now where was everybody hiding last Sunday? 340 miles was the roundtrip and I missed seeing anyone. Rats! Maybe next time.

Got a great shot of the twin tower bridge though.

Marv1,

How did we miss you? John in Cal and I met at the boat ramp. Either one of us was there from 10:00 -1:something.

From the picture, it looks like you were at the park on next street over.

Hey, I go down to Visalia all of the time. I'll meet with you on my next trip and give you the prize for the longest drive. I got a set of F150 Online stickers from Steve & I was going to give one to the person who drove the farthest to meet. You won the prize. I didn't give one to John, because he came from the same town I did, but maybe I should, I do have a spare. Send me your E-Mail to F150BOB@Yahoo.com and you will get your sticker!

John and I talked for about 2 hours about trucks. It is pretty interesting how much you can talk about with someone you just met when you have a common interest.

John and I will probably meet again in the Sacramento area. (John, I liked your idea about Folsom Lake.) Maybe we can get more than a couple of people to that meeting. You do learn "stuff" about the trucks.

Sorry again we missed you,

Hey sorry guys I didn't make it, but I had a sudden engagement to attend. I was pissed, but hey, what was I gonna do. I definitely want to go to the next meet. The Folsom Dam idea is awesome. Just let me know when. There is tons of stuff to do in that area! I hope we can get together very soon, now that the weather is great.

Folsom (and Sacto area) is too far north for me...We need something more centrally located like Modesto, Turlock or the Los Banos/Santa Nella area.
