I went by Kentucky the other night.

The lights were off and nobody was home.

I'm currently living in South West Indiana - a little over a 1/2 hour from Henderson, KY. Anyone else?

I'm in Columbus, and wouldn't be objected to driving down there for a rally or get together. There doesn't seem to be much interest here in OH. Louisville is about a 3.5 hour drive from here. I get down to Bardstown every year for my bourbon pilgrimage

Yea, We'll have to get a rally together sometime. Get some more people from KY, OH, IN, TN and meet in the middle some where. I'm going to the Craftsman truck race in Sparta (northern ky) anyone else?

Just bringing this topic back up front.

There's got to be more folks on here from the area (KY/IN/OH/TN). Come on, people! We need to get a meet going!

Unhappy

I don't know Spargo, I think we just live in the wrong part of the country. When is the riverfest in Cincinnatti when all the Delta Queen's and side wheelers come to town? That might be a fun place and time to have a get together.

Trying to keep this one alive!

It's hard for me to imagine that a great site like this (with thounsands and thousands of registered members) has only 3 people that are interested in a "meet and greet" in the IN/OH/KY/TN/IL area. I know you're out there!

Well I would like to but working 12 hour shifts and having every other weekend off and not knowing if I'll get drafted to work overtime to cover who ever is on vacation that week on the other shift makes it hard to make plans to make it to one but if there is a meet and I can make it I'll be there.

One thing I wouldn't mind organizing is a distillery run later this summer/fall. I always go down to Louisville, stay the night downtown (party a little ) and drive down to Bardstown to tour the Jim Beam site, then drive to Holy Cross to visit Maker's Mark, and maybe stop by Seagrams. The drive from place to place is the best. All winding country roads, beautiful scenery. There's also a huge State Park/ Wildlife refuge nearby that is quite a place to visit. Maybe we could organize a tour sometime next month if this floats anyone's boat. Louisville is a good halfway mark for this region I think.
