Possible trail ride
I was talking with one of my friends back here at school and he was going to try and schedule a trail ride with some people from the Ranger site that he is member of. Well we got to thinking (don't worry I didn't hurt myself this time) and we thought that it might be knida fun to have some F150s there too. This thing would be held in Cedar Rapids, IA at an offroad area by the Coralville resivoir. There are some areas there that can challenge some of the toughest trucks, but there are plenty of areas that normal 4x4s can go. Just to give you an idea of what kind of challenge this can give a vehicle a guy that my friend knows has 76 F150 with a built 460, lockers, and 44" boggers. The rocker pannels on this truck are 52" off the ground. He got this truck buried 6" up the rocker pannels. That is how much mud can be found here. We haven't decided when this is going to take place (because my friends BroncoII isn't built yet). We are hoping for sometime between April and June. We will know well in advance of this, but that is the general time that we have set. If anyone wants to go or just wants to know more about this just reply to this thread, send me an email at powerstroke73@hotmail.com, or you can talk to me on AOL IM screen name powerstroke73d
