I have 04 single cd player, how can I tell if it is an audiophile or not (don't think it is). I am pleased with the way it sounds but would like to swap out for 6 disc factory unit. Also would like to have ability to plug a sub in w/out to much of a hassle if I needed one.

Does my unit have a sub output?
Does the audiophile 6 disc unit have a sub output?

Plan to upgrade door speakers as well.

By the way did a search and came up with about 1,000,000 hits and just figured it would be easier to post my questions here.

How can I add the steering wheel radio controls to my truck. Is it simply buying the oem steering wheel cruise controls and plugging it in?

 

I hope you bought pre-owned, as with all these upgrades/mods you plan to do, you would have been better off buying those options in the first place.
