I was about to ask the same question.

Does yours have Sirius Satelite radio? Mines does, and I noticed that in order to cut it on, I have to press the "aux" button. Which makes me think that there is an aux port on the back. Now that my Sirius subscription is up, I wanted to plug in my MP3 player. Anyone know if there is an aux port on the back?

How do you remove the radio? (6 disc, 06 model)

FWIW - I was able to put 13 cds worth of music onto 1 mp3 formatted cd. The MP3 format is about 12% the size of the straight audio format. The Ipod foramt AAC is about 10% the original size, but you can't burn an AAC CD.

Hope that helps.

I think I found our answer yamahauler33. This came from another thread. He is saying that there are no provisions to plug in an MP3 player to the back of the stock radio, which means that there are no aux jacks.

I just bought the trip tunes and its so so. Its an FM interface and the audio is real low, you need to turn your ipod/mp3 all the way up as well as the radio. I want to check out the pie interface to see if its any better.

you say you have the trip tunes and don't really like it? i have been conmtemplating the pruchse of one but i would like to hear more about your experience with it. is the mounting easy? what kind of sound does it have? i mean, i don't want it blasting all the time but i would like to be able to crank up some "old time rock & roll" by seger , pyromania by def leppard, cowboy by kid rock or just good old brooks and dunn....you know....anyway, im really just a gadget freak and things like that are interesting. just a little more generalized info if you don't mind/ Thanks

Its not going to be cd quality. You have to crank the ipod all the way up to get some bass. Remeber its an Fm modulator so you will lose some volume and there is some hissing but not much. As for the install there is a switch to turn it on and off, either you can wire it to the ignition wire or tap another power source like did. Maybe im picky cause I went from an 02 with an alpine direct ipod to an 06 stock. Its easier just going with a belkin or monster those you wont have to hard wire in. Just my opinion
