Thanks guys.

Is this unit almost identical to the D3 but without the Nav? I think I might purchase it. Also what else would I need to install this?

You'll need an aftermarket harness to plug into your stock one. Connect the dots from the new HU to the artermarket harness. Done.

I really like mine.

Dude , all you need is a 12 volt switch . You can get one at any Auto parts store , Walmart ,Meijer , Target , Radio Shack , you name it . Hook the radios parking brake wire to one of the terminals on the switch . Then ground the other terminal on the switch . Put a dvd in , the deck will say Video viewing is unavailable while driving . Flick the switch on then off . You will get another screen with writing , press OK in bottom right corner and WALLA you have video .

It's VERY easy.

How easy is the display able to be viewed while in the light? Sensitiviy on the touchscreen? How is the viewing in general since the display is pointed straight away instead of at an angle to the viewers? Is a remote standard for this? I can get a killer deal on this unit, just unsure of it as of right now.
Love the setup you have.

Yes, I'm interested in hearing more reviews and opinions of the unit itself like JRM03 said above.

I got mine installed this weekend. We just grounded the green wire. I haven't been able to try it out fully yet. The only problem I'm having is getting a full screen while playing a dvd. If I go to the title and chapter search the full screen shows. The only other way I get a picture is by touching the 4 arrow button in the right corner of the first menu screen. By doing this, I get a picture on about 3/4 of the screen. I think I might have to change the bypass. I'll try to post some pics if you don't follow what I'm describing.
