Is there a way to turn off the Demo. Mine keeps coming on when I turn the unit off. So far I love this unit. Hopefully by this weekend I can get the bypass so the dvd will work.

^Me too! I can't wait to get this thing althought it might be awhile since I had to send a money order instead of a CC.

If I wanted to add a backup camera would it have to be the pioneer unit or could it be any camera? The reason I ask is BC pioneer's camera is 300 bucks and that's almost what the HU cost me.

Any camera with an RCA output will work, which is pretty much any camera sold as an automotive reverse or backup camera.

I can't believe this unit does not come with a remote control. I should have mine tomorrow and installed Saturday, I am all jacked up about it. Ready for some good tunes instead of the lame system right now.

How about the colors? I see 5 different colors (blue/red/amber/green/violet) listed on Pioneer's site for the display illumination, and 112 display colors. I'm hoping the green is pretty close to the factory dash illumination.

I love this stereo. It has good sound and picture when playing dvd. Is there a way to store your own picture for the background instead of the blue or the black checker looking one?

I doubt it. So far that's my only major complaint with the unit. It looks dated.

Yes. You would have to do a search here though.

Could you please save us the trouble.

I'd love to change backgrounds.

What kind of aftermarket speakers are you guys running with this unit. I've got the bass and treble set way down and I can't really turn it up to far b/c of the distortion in the speakers, and the fear of them blowing.
