ok here is the steps I used
I connected my zune through the AV ports on the back on the HU
I used a AV cable with video and audio to mini port to connect to top of zune.
I went onto the zune under display settings and enabled TV output so it would output video/Pictures on the screen.
Then I went to the pioneer head unit and under settings i changed the background to VIDEO mode and then just picked the picture i liked and left my zune pluged into the cigg lighter in the back where you cant see it.

Guys,
is this unit has a RDS function? Whatever i tried it cannot read the name of the radio station. I can't believe that it's possible for such a device not to have this pure option. Anyway can anyone tell me how can I enable this feature?
And one more think. What should I do to watch the DivX movies? I tried almost everything without any success. Is it possible to play such a files from the external media (USB?) If not, in what format it read the DivX content ? As I know it should read the xvid format too (because everything designed for divx reads a xvid too)
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards!

i was wondering if u were getting a wine from the alternator thru your speakers when u had your truck started. cause i am and i have tried everything reran the RCA's installed a ground loop isolator which help somewhat. if u turn the volume all the way down u can hear the wine from the alt and when i step on the gas its get louder. all of the speaker and RCA's wires are all fosgate so not cheap i am gonna try pick up a dual twist on saturday to c if that helps.
the ground loop isolator (GLI) is installed on the amp end of the RCA's and both grounds are grounded at differant locations and were not extendend 4 the (GLI)
also how do you have all of your power and speaker wires's ran and where do u have your HU grounded.
any feedback would be great thanx

Hi everyone, I got this unit a week ago, installed it, and am trying to figure some things out. Maybe some of you know the answers.
For dvix playback, how do you play the files back? If I put a divx ( *.avi) file on a USB key, and connect it to the unit, when I press on USB source on the screen, there is a music sign at the top left corner, and all video files are greyed out. I have tried all sorts of different resolutions, and bitrates, etc. I thought it may have been the parking brake, but the brake is engaged. A dvd does play for example.
For the pushbutton bypass, can I just raise and lower the parking brake really quickly? I did have a bestbuy install my unit... am pretty pissed now lol. Also, has anyone tried the ebay bypass modules? They eliminate the pushbutton entirely, and the video always works.
For the Ipod control cable, how well does it work? Does it show the album art?
Thank you guys!

Ok so today one of my friends and I decided to hook up a reverse camera to my pioneer avhp4000dvd head unit. We have the power wire running to the reverse light power on the left hand side. That same wire runs into the purple wire on the back of the head unit that says its the reverse signal wire *wire that tells the headunit when it is in reverse), we have it grounded properly and the rca is in the right spot. The problem we are having is that the head unit just goes to the reverse camera mode by itself without ever being put in reverse but the camera only has power to it when it is in reverse. Does anyone know why this would be happening or what we are doing wrong? Let me know. Thanks!
