Seriously, what the hell is that little cubby for anyhow??? If they had at least angled the bottom of it downward, it could hold some small stuff. But it' almost flat with no lip along the edge, so anything you put in there flies right out as soon as you hit the gas.

I have a 4ch. amp taking up the two RCA outputs right now.

I wanna connect a mono amp for my subs. Is a piggy back RCA cable for the rear channels the way to go?

I just finished installing this head unit, complete with Sirius, USB, bypass switch, and IPod adapter... Very VERY cool. Graphics on the head unit are a little "retro" - but so far, very happy with it. Even with the factory speakers, sounds much better then the OEM headunit.

Install wasn't awful - although a lot of cabling crammed into the dash of my truck now!

Thanks to the poster with the info about the bypass switch - was a 2 minute job, following the notes on here...

I know it comes with the USB cable but I think you have to buy the ipod cable separately.

Correct - I got the iPod cable off eBay for about $15 - way cheaper then the $40 the dealer wanted. The USB cable came in the package with the HU...

I need HELP ASAP

I have a pioneer AVH-P4000DVD and i bought a new harness which the braking wire color is yellow\black (the guy at the store told me its the same as light green) anyways, I did this switch thing to bypass the DVD and it worked but the only problem is that I only hear sound with no videos at all. I tried 10 different dvds but only sound with no video although the background screen is black and the output is put to S DVD and the background and camera are turned off. Please help?

Whenever I hit the switch at the warning , it makes me able to click ok and go to the dvd.

Is it possible that the braking wire (Yellow\black) is not compatible. I mean by looking at other people posting saying light green will give you braking bypass so does this one but I really dont know and need HELP?

I bypassed mine with a standard 4 pin relay that I got at radio shack for 6 bucks. Wire your parking brake to #87, your remote power wire to #86, and ground #85 and #30. It will automatically bypass it that way. Now I just pop in a dvd whenever and no switches to mess with.
