I was referring to the post above me, mentioning the PIE adapter. I was under the assumption the radio needed to have an "AUX" button for the PIE to work.

With a PIE adaptor, you control the iPod through the iPod. With the iSimple option, the control is through the head unit.

And yes, either of them will work with your radio.

ok not to be ignorant, but I have always had aftermarket units. If using the PIE, how do you select that input when listening to the radio? Since there's no aux button, how will the radio know to use that source? Thanks.

Aha! I did not catch that your current one did not have AUX (I thought it just didn't have CD).

I know the iPod interface requires a radio with the AUX button. I would assume the PIE interface would also.

I saw go to eBay and get a radio -- they're pretty cheap there.

How cheap do they get? Are there ever any used ones?

There is also a guy on ebay who takes OEM decks and adds aux inputs to the front of the radio. He sells radios he already did and you can send him your for $60 I think.

Can you send a link to one of his items? I'm on ebay now looking for Ford radio aux inputs and all I'm getting are pie,pac,etc adapters.
