Yeah I saw that from your album. Won't be a hard task at all considering my trade.

Thanks again!

OK, got the Metra 95-5812 dash kit in the mail. Re-did the mount. I trimmed 1/16ths of an inch off the top edge of the dash kit faceplate with an exact-o knife for a sharp edge. Used a raised edge on the back side of the faceplate as a guide for a straight cut. Now the HU face has room to operate, no touching of the dash kit faceplate. It only took me one shot to get the kit aligned correctly in the dash. I think it's a byproduct of the quality Metra dash kit.

Man this Metra dash kit is a high quality kit compared to the el cheap-o Scosche kit! Though it came free with my HU, I'm never trying one of those again!!!

Pics.

I have it angled down a bit to reduce on possible glare.

It's a super tight fit on tilt 4, but I never tilt it anyway. I'd like it if it tilted the other way.

All my cd stuff is on the ipod. The built in interface for this unit works flawlessly.

Looks better Will, although I still like the stock units better for some reason. I think it has to do with not having the buttons like the stock units do. I like to have to press dials and such

I hate dials and buttons. I'm very happy with it and am enjoying learning how to use it.
