Has ipod for certain models, like my 2gen nano, and no nav upgrade, but is BT ready which is a module that can be purchased. Look here for exact specs. I can't recall.

Got mine from sonicelectronix on eBay, $375.

I have the Kenwood DDX512 and it's great. Has just what I want and I can add later if I choose (think Navi). I purchased a Garmin unit a while back so I didn't need Navi in my HU, so I got one with optional in case I want to add it in later. It's right at your price of $400 @ Sonic: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-DDX-514-.html (newer model = DDX514).

I have mine running from the back through into the glove box. Like most units you will look at it has the iPod interface for controlling it. Bluetooth and Nav ready. Most of the ones you look at in a similar price range will have the same features and performance--it's all about what you think looks best in your rig, Mig.
