I heard something on mine the other day around the oval area and figured I had a new rattle. Everytime I would take off I would hear it and then sloing down I would hear it again. Turned out I had a valve stem cap in my glove box rolling around.

 

I get this cracking noise every once in a while. I think it's just the glove box door though. Probably just bouncing around. I usually notice it when going around turns, which makes me think it's the glove box door because the g forces from turning put some pressure on it and make it move. But i don't care anyways. Doesn't bother me. I got the stereo up loud enough that i can't hear anything else anyways

 

That damn noise has been driving me crazy for about 1 year or so. It didnt do it when i bought it and it doesnt always do it now.
I think im going to try the door and the oval thing. I can never tell where exactly it comes from so i guess ill do both. Glad to see its not just my truck though.
