Big favor from a 2K5 KR owner

As im sure you guys are aware that a few of us are trying to add the power folding mirrors to our trucks and have no successfully added it with the factory switch. The big favor I need is since for can't seem to do a part lookup based on connection. If one of you are taking your back seat off and happen to look at the pfm module (small black box) we are in need of the part number that is on the tag connecting to the pfm and maybe even the pfm module itself just to ensure our part number is correct. Also if you have time take a peak at your switch (the one that you pull back on to fold the mirrors) and let us know what that part number is. This would be a huge help to us wanna be KR guys.

Thanks in advance

Taking the back part of the back seat out is easy, remove the small cover on top of the seat belt retractor, remover the 2 10mil nut, pull the cover off,
Then put your hands in the crack of the seat and pull really hard up it will just pop off (unless your a girly-man) :santa:

I will try to remember and look at this when I install my XM antenna above the third brake light if I have to remove my back seat to hide the coax behind the trim panels. However, I can not tell you when I will get around to it. I just don't like being outside when it is 100+.

I completely understand that and even if you don't have to take the seat apart to hide the cable thanks for the reply.

Been a while RP I think the last time I talked to you was when my other truck was wrecked and I was helping you with the XM install with your new pioneer stereo (in your old truck from what I see).

ASCII - I've got my back seat out. There is a black box on the rear driver's side. This is the only box back there. Do you need the number on the front of the box? I'll have my seat out until Sunday mid morning.

Here is what's on the box

5L3T-15604-AA Seimens VDO
5WY7130
Body Security Module

There are two wire harnesses going into this box.

That's for the keyless entry and security systems you should see a 5 digit number on it (in large print) that is you key pad code. What we are looking for is the Power Folding Mirror Relay they say, it is located behind the seat back on the left side. What a stupid place for a relay. thank you very muck for taking the time to help us. I hope ascii will see this post in time to pin point the location of the PFM relay.

Well my back seat is still out and just laying down, so I'll give it until tomorrow or so. I will say that I spent some time looking for somthing other than what I described above and could not find anything else, except for the electrical connection used for the sliding rear window (which I do not have so it's just a harness). So far it's looking like your relay may be somewhere else.

I've still got the back seat out. I haven't tried to remove the side panel yet though. If I get time tomorrow, I'll tryto find it. Those side panels can be a bitch though - tried once and wasn't successful.

And yes, the 5495 is incredible.
