My '01 KR "Not for the Squeamish" pics inside...

I will start out by saying I LOVE my insurance company!
So my Wife (keep the jokes to a minimum!)is backing out of parking spot ,cranks the wheel to the right to back onto the street and hits the pole in front of the business.
Of course its in the middle of the sidewalk, painted a dark color and it's night-time.

This is the "aftermath"...

At the Body Shop...

Back Home after a new Hood,Fender,Bumper,Grille,Lights and a Lifetime warranty on the work!

I'm VERY impressed with the work the Body Shop did with blending the paint and the quality of the work.

Looks nice. Good work by shop.

The true test will be a nimber of years down the road, how will the paint last, fade, etc.

I thought that myself.
Where the corner of the cover meets the fender, there's a plastic piece at the bottom of the fender edge that may be giving that illusion.
The Body Shop (Golden State Collision in Lincoln,CA) has given us a Lifetime Warranty on the work,so any issues will be fixed at no charge.
(They even fixed some other things that were not listed in the estimate and final bill.)

It was *only* offered in a Supercrew in 2001. 4 captains chairs too; no rear bench.

Trust me.

Oh yeah... they had the nice saddle bags on the backs of the front seats as well (note rear single seat with rear center console)

Ahhh... the good ole' days...

Man that is a nice truck! Now why would you get rid of something that nice?
Ok so the 01 was only offered in a supercrew and no rear bench just buckets. Got ya, I love the rear buckets and center console in my 03, wonder why they stopped putting them in the rear?

I'd have to guess that it's two fold --

1. It's not as practical for most folks -- it did present unique challenges for carrying some items in the rear and, more importantly;
2. Cost per unit to produce.
