guess what? tonite while filling up the truck with gas i noticed that i do indeed have orange peel on my baby!!! the lighting was just right that it really stood out.....arrgghhh. you would have to make me notice something like that...damn it. now i'll never be the same

The original question was how to get rid of orange peel?

Answer, paint your truck CHESTNUT...Or don't buy your KR in Charcoal Blue or Estate Green...That should take care of the issue...

Seems like the only folks talking about orange peel have trucks painted with that Charcoal Blue. They must have put charcoal dust into the paint causing the orange peel, hope they used Kingsford...

We use pumice stone....makes for an interesting final effect !

Again Lent, let me do the choosing on the 'scouring material'. I'm thinking more of a quartz arenite or a fossilferous piece of limestone.

Heck, I don't know... maybe a piece of obsidian would really do the trick.

I'm thinking any type of quartzite too... those are very effective.
