19,000 miles in 12 months.

-Passenger heated seat didn't heat (not sure it ever did...I don't sit there)...repaired under warranty
-A/C quit getting colld last month....compressor replaced under warranty

Everything else is fine

 

16,500 miles since October 2001. Leaky pinion seal on transfer case-replaced. White junk blows out of A/C ducts. Thats the only problems I've had with mine.

8,500 miles in 12 months. I only live 3 minutes from work.

As for problems:

1. White powder coming from air ducts on top of dash.
2. Infamous thunk in rear end when I take off from a stop.
3. Dirt comes out of the rear tail lights at the base, needs rubber gaskets to cover vent holes.
4. Had some paint issues after I took delivery but my dealer made all that right.
5. A few other minor quality issues at delivery but dealer corrected them for the most part.

I'm pretty damn happy with mine, I'm sure others will find other stuff wrong, but for the most part I don't think there's another vehicle made that can fit the bill. The truck isn't perfect, but it's not too far from it though...

Why would you ask for details and then don't even start out with giving us any info on your truck, that doesn't seem fair...Info should always flow in two directions otherwise it's like talking to yourself...

7,853.4 miles and my list of problems are

1) paint job just sucks.....grrrr.....orange peal....gonna get Steve to fix this little problem through his contacts at Ford.
2)pin striping is pathetic .....had it all replaced
3)alignment....which is partly my fault from off-roading, adjusting the torsion bars and a blow out at 70mph

other then that my Tomas has been the most pleasurable vehicle I have ever owned and I love him.

2001 KR 4x4 OFF RD... 30 K Miles - I bought 2k Miles ago...

I have had no problems so far. I changed oil immediately with mobile 1 super syn. and Treated the seats...they had a "rough" feel around the headrest, but i assume that was hair spray or somthing like that...

I have had no problems so far...just debating on extended warranty !

37,330 as of this morning since april 14, 2001 99% highway miles. Only problems I have had are a blew a vaccum hose and the about 6 months later had to have a powe steering hose replaced.

 

Almost 15K miles. I've put 8 of them on myself (I purchased it off demo).

1. A few minor paint issues but, I'm not going to worry too much about them.

2. Hose for windshield wiper wash leaked and screwed up the firewall pad immediately under the top of the hood. (warranty)

3. Micro-leak from sunroof (warranty)

4. Small leak from rear sliding window (will be warranty)

5. Pin Stripe pretty bad on passenger side (will be warranty)

6. Damn fender badge on drivers side is like a sponge... it runs for HOURS after washing.

7. Thunk

I think that's it. I'm really happy with my truck.

Just turned 38000 this morning. Took delivery March 8, 2001. Had 1 spark plug and coil, and the door keypad replaced under warranty. So far thats it. Very happy with this my 5th Ford truck. Must have something to do with the color!

 

Mine has the thunk but I like it.

If you could find a way to sell that psychological affinity for the thunk, then I think you could become a rich man, or is it thunk...

its gonna be 2 months on September 9th, and i've got about 1900 miles. i love my king ranch

 

Just a shade under 31,000 miles in 14 months. Most all highway miles.

No real problems so far.

 

Picked up 1/30/02. Miles approx. 12,350. No major problems so far. It's going to the dealer nexr week for a pass. frnt door alignment ( minor), scratches on driver winow ( small and at the bottom ) and that's about it. Got some slight dings in the paint but that's just from traveling the highways. Over all so far so good. I am very happy with this truck. I have recieved many compliments on the KR. And by yhe way this is my first truck.
