for pads there's a ton of options. I got the ceramix pads cause they hardly leave any dust and they are longer lasting and they are quiet too. they also stop a little better then stock. you can get those at napa now..
for rotors you can get some slotted and dimpled nice ones from ruslow. he makes some sweet ones for our truck. go check out the road racing section of www.NLOC.net and look for ruslow performance on the vendors list and you should get the good stuff.
I take it you don't want a whole new brake setup, just better replacements right?

either you don't drive your truck hard enough or the rear brakes probably arn't taking that much abuse in the rear cause drilled rotors crack like a mother!!! takes allot of force to stop a big truck thats hauling major nuts!

Cross drilling a rotor increases the possibility of rotor failure under more extreme conditions. I mean, if you've got a bridge and drill gigantic holes in it, it ain't going to be as strong.
If the rotor was forged with the holes to begin with, that's different story, I think. And plus, most of us don't punish our brakes like Spike did in his red L (judging from his many a great video productions) so I don't doubt the guy.

Keep a look out this weekend or next week for another video. I'm meeting Ruslow at Laguna Seca on Saturday and will try to get some decent footage. Plus, he's testing a new brake system...
I won't have my usual camera and microphone setup though, so I don't know how well the footage will turn out. My system has been taking laps at Talladega and I doubt I'll have it back before Saturday. That'll be another video and should be interesting...
