Question Need coil packs. Gotta question

My truck is at 70K miles and i figure it's time for some new coil packs. Not having any problems but I think i'll feel better with a fresh set. I'm gonna purchase a set of TR6 spark plugs from SAL and I didn't see any coil packs on his site. Can someone tell me who online sells coil packs for cheap? If i remember correctly, a few months ago they were like 200 bucks a set??

Also how often should coil packs be changed??

THanks!!

More like $40 to $50 each.
I had 2 go bad at 12,000 miles.
JDM does sell them and also try fordpartsonline or your dealer.

Here's the part #....Ford jacked the price up on these again as well. Just like the 90mm MAF and the AL driveshaft....they catch on to what people are buying and then screw us over.

Coil Packs # 1L2Z12029AA ....I bought 8 of them 2 months ago, they were $26.70 each from www.fordpartsonline.com. They are now $50.18

Try Lightning Force Performance that is where I got mine from. For a little less than the $50.

That is what I'll do.
That guy would probably send me some defective ones then won't refund the money for a year until I threaten court action, then he'll decide to come up with a good excuse as to why he never sent the refund, then he'll say he might send a refund, etc...

Email from the guy on May 8th of this year. Still haven't got the refund...
"Mark here (LFP). Your refund check was written on the 30th of last mo. The following week we were preparing for, going to and returning from FFW. The check was overlooked during this period. I can put your refund check in the mail today."

In all honesty....why change the coil packs? I would not change one unless it is bad. Justa wasting money in my opinion. thats a lot of dough for nothing!
