THe X-Pipe actually goes before the muffler, but Steve likes the custom stuff.

Thanks Steve for the beauty pics.

Justin,

What kind of power gains can be expected from the full system?

Are there any legal issues that you know of with replacing the cats in a truck with 300 miles on it? I guess if I had to I could jam a screw driver into them and claim accident...LOL.

Last question...will this system fit on the 03.

oops...one more question...is it the silver bullet from cat back?

Thanks

Rocks

03,

It really depends on what mods you have on your truck. I know Vinnie posted a 3 tenth gain on his truck which is deifintely noticeable on the street. You are guaranteed a power increase on the dyno. The good thing about this system is that is relieves cylinder pressure which in turn make run a lot more safer especially in this weather. It will fit the 03's. I am not sure of the laws in Texas but I know we have a large number of people in Texas inclding Little Ricky, and Caka on this board. I am sure they could tell you the specific laws. As far as emissions, you won't have any problem with that. I can go into much more detail if you want to call the shop or E-Mail me your phone number "micronp450@aol.com". I can even let you listen to one on the phone.

Thanks,

Justin@JDM

Jeff,

Yes! I really can't state an exact number becuase I don't have any of the sheets here at home. I will be in the shop tomorrow. There are a lot of variables with the numbers. THe more boost you have the better number you'll get. I post some results with mods tomorrow.
Thanks,

Justin@JDM

JUSTIN.. what's up brotha?

Quick question, my full system has different style twin mufflers then in the pic.. Is there anything to gain if i switched over to the round cans?

BTW - love the sound of my full system.. makes old ladies cry in the station wagon next to me when i take off... lmao!

Hey Chris! No, there are no power differences between the two. We changed over the this style becuase they were easier to work with when putting them together. Did you stalling problem get resolved?

Thanks,

I am curious about some solid hp/tq dyno numbers as well, this is an expensive mod just for bling and sound.

Yes there definately may be legal issues, and I believe this is FEDERAL, not just based on locality, but around here there is something like a $3000 to $5000 fine for replacing/modifying catalytic converters or emissions control equipment. and they can fine $20,000 to $30,000 for any shop that does this work for you!!!

you are not allowed to touch them UNLESS THEY ARE DAMAGED or INOPERATIVE/NOT WORKING PROPERLY

but who is to say yours weren't damaged or inefficient right?

as for will it fit an '03? It better or I'm gonna be throwing chit and saying bad words.

later,
chris

Here's my dynoplot. The only difference between the two is the full exhuast and the time of year:

Yeah, thanks... I was pleasantly surprised myself. The exhaust is my only engine mod besides an air filter... I'm chipless/no pulley as well.
