B&M Tranny Pan... Opinions?

B&M Tranny Pan... Opinions?

I see there are a couple different tranny pans out there. The most common I see is a Ford one, one extra quart capacity. But LFP has a nice looking B&M one... holds 2 extra quarts and also includes gasket... overall looks to be better quality... but price is alot more. Worth the money?

Ford just came out with a new deep sump pan and it looks like the B&M pan. Vinnie has one.........

I think the protruding drain plug on the Ford Racing part is a big mistake. As shown in the photo below of the standard 4X4 pan, a protruding plug can hit-especially on a lowered truck.



I would choose the B&M for this reason alone.

Thanks for that link, that pretty much answers my questions... I like the B&M even more now as it has a recessed plug. I think I will save up and pay extra for that one.
