How much to "AIR-BAG" a Lighting?
Ok, so im not soooo concerned about the performance loss, as a bagged lightning will still have "one up" on a whole lot of trucks and cars out there in terms of performance..
So far i have been quoted $3000 to bag my truck here in Jersey.
Does this sound about right, i know its got to be a crap load of work.

From my experience with air bag kits, you will definately get what you pay for. There is your typical cheap setups you see in the magazines, or the really hardcore stuff that last a long time.
You really have to be concerned with the quality of the components. The basic kits alone will cost you close to $2000, and there is a great deal of labor involved. $3000 is about what you should expect.
The bigger the tanks and compressors are, the better, for they will help you go up and down without having to wait too long for the system to build pressure again.
You also need to decide if you want a traditional setup or the fastbags style. Unless you plan on showing off and hopping around, get a quality traditional setup.
You are basically going to install the lowest drop possible (control arms, c-notch, you name it) and the air bags are just going to help you get back up to a normal ride height.
$$$$$$$ talks, but I don't get the impression that you are one to cut corners. I am sure there are some others out there who can chime in about this too.

Scott.. thanks for all the info buddy.. its all new to me.
Yeah, not looking to "hop" the truck at all.. Just be able to slam it down while crusing, etc.
When I call up local installers, what should I be asking for, besides, "How much would it cost to bag my Lightning?.."
Any particular names of components to ask for?
Thanks guys!
