If I bought another L it would have to be Sonic Blue....but taking in the fact that you live in Florida with alot of sunshine and heat...I would go with White...unless your not going to drive it alot. But what color will always be in style? RED !

They kinda have the carbon fiber look that someone had for sale a while back.

As a post ***** I can tell you this. I had a black 99 Lightning which I traded for the 01. The black looks great when clean and if your life revolves around cleaning your truck, go with black. But Iam a lazy bastard, so I went with silver. When I got back to Jersey from my Fla trip, which I must have driven, atleast 2000 miles in the rain, I was complemented on my truck. Even though it was so dirty you could have written your name in the dirt on it.
I just love silver

 

Well it's going to be a daily driver for me, so yeah the heat and crap suck. White trucks look good to me. But then again so does DSG. Arrrgh

GreySV T03, your truck's pics are what have me kicking myself over color choice.

The other thing is, a lot of you are mentioning that the DSG is a great base for mods. I'm quite poor right now, so my only mod for this year might be the bedrug, and ordering the factory tonneau cover. So it can't be "yes but spend 2K on chrome dubs", cuz i have no mod money

 

With chrome and some other mods the DSG will look awesome, but I have always been a fan of the white L's too. There's just somthing about the way they look that I like.

I have a black 01 and no garage. I think I have the handle now on keeping it looking clean and it doesn't involve that much more work. If you like it you'll clean it anyway no matter what color it is. Get the color that pleases YOU! Not us. We have what we have. You still have to decide. So, after you get the color WE want you to get, see how many are willing to send some money to help with the payments.

 

I would say go with White, I am a little bias though.

Besides, what color is Lightning anyways? I think it is pretty much white everytime that I see it, and if everything goes as planned it is to be the next fastest color...
