I hope I installed this stuff correctly, it didn't come with any instructions. I mean it's pretty self explanatory, but some tips on how to route a few items and what does or doesn't need to be removed to install the kit might help.

later,
chris

P.S. Doug, if this is too many pictures, let me know, I don't want to mess up the sight or server or whatever. thanks

Chris, how bad would the install be without the lift?

IMHO, it wouldn't be fun without a lift at all. But then again, i'm a little spoiled. I haven't worked in the driveway in at least 6 or 7 years

I'll tell you what I thought was a little tough.

First of all no instructions, then the passenger side header was definately the worst part. getting to the hego connectors was not fun, but no biggie. you need to plan on doing something with those heat shields so the O2 wiring will have somewhere to go.

you'll need LOTS of extensions and swivel sockets and wrenches.

good luck.

chris

Chris,
Sweet install.Sweet pics.

I did mine in a driveway and it wasn't that bad(5 hours, includes taking off the old one). The passenger one was the hardest part.Once you realize to take the fenderwell out then it is a piece of cake.

curious ...

Why no instructions - left out by mistake or just not included ...?

Those headers look very, very nice and it looks like you did a great job - so how does it sound and perform now...? Who makes the headers for JDM...? BTW, I have a Sonic blue comming should be here any day it's enroute as I type...

Good luck on your next project ...

Thumbs up Awesome!

Chris... that is simply BAD@SS!!!!
I've got to come check your ride out now.
I definitely need to hear a full JDM exhaust in person. These computer sound clips aren't cutting it for me!

So Universal let you install it in their shop?
Maybe if I ever get the system I could pay you to install it now that you are the expert.

Talk to you later,

Hey Chris,

So does everything basically clamp together? Or is there any kind of welding required?

Paul
