Rear Shackle Question

Rear Shackle Question
I should be taking delivery of an '03 L within the next few days and I've read several posts about the increased height of the rear of the vehicle. I finally saw one in person this morning and the first mod will have to be lowering the back end to get it as close to level as possible. I want to start with 2" drop shackles. Other than price, are there any pros or cons to one brand over the other?

I ordered mine from JDM. $65. They're the Western Chassis 2". A lot of people here use them. Good quality construction and easy to install. Even the stance out without having to drop the front-end if you don't want to. Ride quality is the same. Not sure if they do anything for traction.
Good luck..

think u need something a little more on the '03's
look in Truckin' Mag, there is a company that sells adjustable 3-5" shackles it says for the F150.
dont know the quality or anything on them though.
i also have the JDM ones, and they were simple to install (like they all are) and gave a noticable drop. Cheap mod.
