ticking noise

I am concerned as the truck had no eng noise for 2000mi and now there is this slight noise that has not gotten any louder, but with the hood down and if you put your ear at the drivers side front wheel that d--m ticking noise is their. I am worried that its a problem that wont get any better. I am still going to walnut creek ford after the 20 to let the engineer from ford listen to it i think their is a real problem and its with the bottom end of this eng.

I see you have the Bassani shorties, maybe a exhaust leak. Those header gaskets always seem to leak after awhile

Check for loose plugs now. Don't let them spit. There is absolutely no advantage to having the head warenteed with the same one,. and plenty of disadvantages.
