They are THE WORST seats I have EVER sat in. I ordered a set, and tried them out - I couldn't drive for 20 minutes, without my a$$ falling asleep. Avoid these things like the plague.

(PS, I'm 5'8". 220lbs, 32" waist.)

Oh, and guys - they're $369 for a PAIR - NOT for each seat!

Which seats are you referring to as being uncomfortable?

This is a good lesson

Make sure what ever aftermarket seat you decide to buy, that you test them out first.

The R-1's, which the thread topic is referring to.

Seriously, my friend has a set of $100-a-piece, 1-piece racing seats that are more comfortable than these things could EVER hope to be.

what makes them so uncomfortable? for 369 a pair you could almost make some money w/ the sale of your stockers...

hmmm now if they just came w/ the right mounting stuff, and i could find a used expy center console....and shipping didn't kill me (for selling my stock seats and everything)....i would do this mod!

Just an fyi for guys shopping for seats, a 22 in wide seat will hold a 40-42 in waist. Most are 20 in wide althou you will find some 18 in wide(WTF)! 20 in seat will work up to a 38 so I amagine the 18 would work up to a 34 in waist. I am personally getting a 22 just in case LOL I am a 34-36 but never know if I'll need te extra room.
