the box he posted is the Tamiya lightning.. If he send you the stuff in the pictures you are OK... Same kit I bought 3 weeks ago

it is really like 1/10th scale

Yeah, I have one of those...still brand new in the box. I was gonna piece it together but jsut don't have the drive or time t do it.

SO I bought this one from Lightning Larry instead

Whew!!!! That was a close one. I should no better, then not to come to you guys first.

Looks like you "lucked" out Vinnie....BTW since we are on the topic of R/C's...I've tried searching and havent found much since you cant search for the word 'R/C'. Does anyone have anymore info on these items? I've looked at Tamiya's website to find out more on their Lightning kit. Are there any other companies out there making the kits for a lightning? What's with the nitro ones? Just a little more info would be appreciated since I would like to get into this hobby...thanks...
