Went the dealer today and was surprised

I stopped by my local for dealer today to get a new fuel filter. On the way out I stopped by and talked to one of the techs. I told him I was a new lightning owner and had heard about sparkplug problems and should I be worried. He said no. He also said he has only seen 2 launches in 4 years. Needless to say i was surprised.

After reading this site for only a month I could not even believe this guy was saying that I should not worry about it. What a joke.

My mechanic has replaced a couple heads on the 5.4's for spark plugs, but he told me not to worry about it either. Just keep up proper maintenance...

He dosn't work for Ford and would be making money if I had him replace it, so the incentive to "avoid repair" to save money isn't a motive for him.
