Wink Off-road pipe

Wondering if any L's are running an off-road pipe. If so how loud is it and did it effect anything? I'm thinking about taking off the cats and getting one. Unsure if I'll pass emissions here in lovely Maryland but i'll find a way around it

you mean like straight pipes or just replacing the cats with pipes? i run straight pipes and they're loud as chit. guaranteed not to pass emissions but i'm in the sticks.

Make that GUARANTEED NOT TO PASS in large letters. I don't believe its worth the hassle that could arise by not running them.
On a side note I saw the stainless steel high-flow cats that JDM sells and thats the way Iam going

If you run a lot of leaded race gas, like 112-116 octane, it may be a good idea to remove your cats. I am debating on removing mine because I run a lot of leaded gas at the track.

If you do run Offroad pipes, you will need a pair of MIL Eliminators to keep from throwing a SES/Check Engine like for MIL. About $50 and they plug inline to your rear cat sensors 02's, fooling it by keeping the voltage to the heat point its accustomed to.
