For those of you who have painted the factory grills black, did you use flat, gloss or semi-gloss? Also what kind of prep work is involved? I will probably have a paint shop do the work, I just want to make sure they do it correctly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had mine done at the Ford Dealer. The process
is a three or four step one and to do both grills
was about $480.00.

Luckily, I managed to need those items replaced
after my accident, so everything came out to my
advantage.
