Mac cat-back exhaust OPINIONS

What do you guys think of the Mac cat-back exhaust? Does anyone have it? How does it sound? Any power increase? Let me know what you think.

No identifiable power increase. But that's pretty much normal with cat backs on our trucks.

Raunchy, noisy and I love it.

It gets real loud a WOT.

Don't buy the cat-back if your looking for power. If you are set on getting a cat-back for the "sound", I think JDM has an exhaust special till the end of the month on their silver bullet. Iam running the Bassani and love it!

I was also thinking about the MAC Exhast. I have 300$ to spend on my L. Ive been debating between a Bedrug, MAC Exhast, SS Mirrors, or Wet Okoles. I don't wanna decide till I hear the MAC Exhast. Does anyone have any sound clips of the exhast? I searced a few times, and couldn't find it... Thanks

I heard the Magnaflow round mufflers-don't know model-they sounded nice but pretty loud. I got a deal on the MAC from a fellow L owner and I like 'em. Sound as good as the expensive brand but not intolerable. Of course if you plan to keep the truck til you die, then you may consider a ss system.
Power? It always feels faster when it sounds good. Really, don't know.

BTW, after u see the bigger tips filling in that opening, the stockers really look funny.

Isn't the MAC catback like 250$ new? Where can I buy it for the cheapest? Thanks

hmm i wonder where you heard those from???? BTW they are the dual 14416's and a loud as hell. Yes i set off car alarms when i drive past and i had to upgrade up to the 6lb lower just so i could hear some blower whine over em. all this with stock exhaust manifolds and stock cats.

Buy it once, I say, go for the Silver Bullet or the Bassani cat back.
