HI!... Guys : I know this has been covered in some degree, but what I want to know is what year EXPEDITION center console fits our trucks best? There is a tall version and a short version, right? I have captains chairs in my F-150 with arm rests and want to do this center console mod. Can I use the taller one with my arm rests? Will it fit? Can I use the taller one in conjunction with the arm rests ( down), or do I have to remove the stock arm rests. The reason I ask is I can't find a grey one anywhere now and have decided to order the parts to build one from my dealer at my lower cost. I just need to know which one to order? If any of you have pics, that would be great for me to decide which one I want to get. I need the center console without the heater controls in it. I need the one with the large coin bin in it that goes almost right to the dash. Thanks guys.

I keep reading about one part number for the console.WRONG.THERE ARE 16. That includes the brackets and cd changer holder and mats. It does NOT include the brackets for the seat.That is 3 more parts.

Here is a list of the part numbers and retail prices.
I did not pay these prices.I payed less.But if you went to ford this is what they will charge you.

HI!... THANKS VINNIE!!!!!!!!! WOW! I hope that's not (U.S) prices? My Canadian dealer quoted me about $600(CAN) for the entire center console. Thanks for the pics. Anyone else have pics? I could use some of where the concole fits between the seats? Thanks again. So 2000 up fits. What does the "99" and back look like? Same thing just shorter where the arm rest door is?

 

Vinnie, are one of those part #'s a bracket that the console mounts to? If so, which one? The three part #'s I've been able to find in a search only deal with the passenger seat.

Neal, the 97-99 consoles were narrower, about half the width of the 2000+.

Neal, having an expy myself, I know all the changes that took place. You need the 97-98 "narrow" center console. If you can find an EB one or one from an xlt with leather you get a leather wrapped lid. Good luck finding one!

 

He is right. You need the narrow 97-98 one. I did not realize you had the captain chairs.
that should be easy to find.
